Lyrics:
I knew you were trouble at the start, So I
asked Jesus all up in my heart, No lie
Reminded me of who I used to be,
But I’m a new creature and that ain’t me
Say Ooooo Ooo Ooo Ooo Ooo
Tried to temp me again last night
Say Ooooo Ooo Ooo Ooo Ooo
This time, I told the devil, I said

Chorus:
We are never ever ever getting back together
We-e are never ever ever getting back together
See you got your demons, you plotting, you scheming
You ain’t bothering me
We are never ever ever getting back together

Rap:
Everybody got a past if youre living and breathing
His grace made you Holy and you started a heathen
It’s an uphill climb but we in it to win it
More than conquerors and we led by the spirit
Got your Bible keep it close, Father Son Holy Ghost
You with the devil no mo’
Straight to Heaven we gon’ go (singing)

Lyrics:

Verse 1

They don’t know you the way I do
I once was lost but have been found by you
Your unfailing love has captured me

Hook:

So I pray daily and give my life to you
And I am in such awe in your eyes I am special
Though I may stumble and fall
Your blood paid for it all

Verse 2:
So I pray daily and give my life to you
Nothing thing in this world I would rather do
Than seek you with all of my heart so true
You are my Lord I will follow you

Hook:

Though I may stumble and fall
Your blood paid for it all

So I pray daily and give my life to you
Nothing thing in this world I would rather do
Than seek you with all of my heart so true
You are my Lord I will follow you

Though I may stumble and fall
Your blood paid for it all

Seeking the crumbs

Seeking the Crumbs
Matthew 15: 21-28
The Canaanite woman who asked Jesus to heal her daughter didn’t come expecting to be treated well. She was probably used to being looked down upon by Jews. Yet she knew Jesus had what she was seeking, and she wasn’t going to let anything get in her way—not even pride. Jesus tells her he was “sent only to the lost sheep of Israel”—not the lost sheep of Canaan. Yet the woman’s faith is what moves Jesus to action. She says “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their maters’ table.” Put another way: “I know you are called to offer salvation to Israel first, Lord, but I also know that you are so powerful and so generous that if I only had a crumb of what you offer, my daughter would be made well.”
Her faith and her humility are what we should take note of.
This Canaanite woman is like the woman with the issue of blood who said “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well” (Matthew 9:21) and the centurion who said “only say the word, and my servant will be healed.” (Matthew 8:8).
Can we say the same of ourselves? Do we believe that if we only had a crumb or a touch or a word of what Jesus is offering we will be made well?
