For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned?…
For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another. – God (Isaiah 48:11)
The grass withers, the flower fades…
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. – Isaiah 40:8
Whom Shall I Fear – Video
The first time I heard this song I felt the power of what my God does, and who He is, hit me like a tidal wave. The power and beauty and love that God provides for us literally cast’s out fear, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” -1 John 4:18 and “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.” Isaiah 54:17
Listen to this beautiful song by Chris Tomlin and rest in the power of our Lord. Whom shall we fear if our God is on our side?
